- Abstract:
- (Producer) Designed as a stimulus to aid discussion of techniques employed in stage hypnosis, this program portrays the use of hypnosis as a source of entertainment. The potential harm of the irresponsible use of hypnosis to a particularly vulnerable subject is depicted. The overall goal is to develop the viewer's appreciation for distinctions between clinical and stage hypnosis. It further aims to promote a better understanding of the general confusion associated with clinical hypnosis, based on the popularity of stage hypnosis.
