Abstract:
(Critical) This module, part of a series on treatment of the obsessive patient, is a presentation of a day-long conference. The phenomena of rituals and phobias are defined and the functions they serve for the disturbed patient are discussed. The educational design is poor; there are no learning objectives, the content is disorganized, and the clinical applicability is poor. The material is theoretical and its delivery long-winded and dull. The visual quality is uninteresting. This program is not recommended for use.
