Abstract:
(Critical) This program discusses the epidemiology, symptomology, and diagnosis of scabies. The disease is compared in animals and man, and means of transmission are characterized. Cartoons are effectively used to illustrate some concepts. Despite unclear introductory remarks as to the self-healing properties of scabies, the program is accessible and well organized. This production is of excellent technical quality and appropriate length, and is recommended for nursing, allied health, graduate and other interested audiences, including those at the college and high school levels.
