Abstract:
(Critical) This module, part of a symposium, on the aging face, illustrates a technique for a male facelift. Incision, extent of the undermining and a type of dermal placation are discussed; however, the procedures as demonstrated does not coincide with current, more extensive procedures and trends in plastic surgery. Pre-operative indications and post-operative complications are not sufficiently detailed. The pace is extremely slow and the program is of an inappropriate length for such limited information. Inadequate lighting and poor camera angles obscure the demonstration of critical steps. This program is recommended with reservations for use.
