- Abstract:
- (Critical) This module is a technical demonstration of a surgical technique for aesthetic blepheroplasty -- a conservative, somewhat dated procedure which is an amalgamation of several standard approaches. An explicit portrayal is provided of fat pad excision for the central and lateral fat pads, but dissection of medial fat pads is not included. Information of pre-operatiive examination, patient selection, complications and post-operative follow-up would enhance the production's instructive value. The technical quality is impaired from poor organization and pacing, extraneous noises and interferences in the visualization. The program is recommended with reservations for use. and This is a videosurgery of aesthetic blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery. Surgeons note that selecting the right patient for the operation is essential for a successful outcome. The patient must also first consult his or her ophthalmologist to ensure that there are no abnormalities. Common traits of a patient receiving aesthetic blepharoplasty include drooping and redundant skin, especially in older patients. Step-by-step explanations of the surgery are included
