Abstract:
(Critical) This module, part of a patient care series, presents basic information on blood pressure measurement. Identification of equipment, terminology of sounds, appropriate procedure, reading of manometer and recording of the readingsare dicussed. Discrepancies between the tape and instructional booklet and indistinct light lettering against a light background detract from the educational impact. The format, organization, and pace are logical and appropriate to the audience, although the production is not suited for self instructive use by all audiences. The material is recommended for use.
