Abstract:
(Producer) Part of a series on microanatomy laboratory orientation, this program presents the anatomy of the ear. The outer ear or pinna is demonstrated initially, followed by the tympanic membrane and middle ear ossicles and then a detailed examination of the inner ear. The presentation features the sensory epithelium of the maccula of the utricle, the christa of the ampualla of the semicircular canals, the cochlea and duct and the Corti. The information is presented in substantial detail.
