Abstract:
(Critical) Displaying excellent illustrative quality, this program is an in depth discussion of extrication procedures and proper management of an accident victim to prevent neurologic damage resulting from spinal fractures. In addition to the anatomical further physiologic explanation of such possible neurologic damage which may result from poor handling would be useful. This is recommended viewing for emergency medical technicians, allied health personnel and anyone who is likely to be on the scene of an accident.
