Abstract:
(Critical) This program presents the use of the Hanau articulator model no. 130-21. Location of the hinge axis of the mandible is illustrated, and its transfer to the articulator using kinematic face-bow is demonstrated. The articulator's parts and a method of the maxillary and mandibular casts on it are described. This information is clearly presented and explained, and the visualization is particularly good. Some of the terminology used is not accepted by the Prosthodontic Society. Weaknesses are noted, but these do not detract to a large extent from the production. It is recommended for use.
