Abstract:
(Critical) This program presents the therapeutic technique of the use of a large ball in the treatment plan of patients with neuromuscular control disorders. Patients with various problems including spinal cord injury, cerebral vascular accident, cerebral palsy and ataxia working on balance and coordination are demonstrated. Although the presentation is well done, the descriptions are superficial and treatment procedures are conducted without explanation. Thus, the program is recommended with reservations for physical therapists and occupational therapists.
