Abstract:
(Critical) A review of the diagnosis, pathology, and surgical correction of pectus excavatum (funnel chest) is presented in this module. The clinico-pathological correlations of this condition are very good. Cosmetic repair of the congentical thoracic anomaly by means of a surgical technique which has not altered in the last ten years is explicitly demonstrated on a six year old female child. This well-done production is recommended for use.
