Abstract:
(Critical) This program defines cervical spine injuries based on the mechanism of injury, stability, and the absence or presence of a neurological injury. Models, x-rays, cineflouroscopy and a review of a logical treatment plan are presented. The material is effective in alerting the physician to the mechanism of injury, and the diagnosis and treatment of cervical spine injuries. Thus, the program is recommended for orthopedic neurologic surgeons.
