Abstract:
(Critical) This program presents the standard methods of performing truncal vagotomy and pyloroplasty. The presentation shows the straightforward technique of this surgical procedure. However, the film is lengthy, and little attempt is made to discuss alternative approaches to the same problem. Thus, this program is recommended with reservations for general surgery students and gastrointestinal surgery practitioners.
