Abstract:
(Critical) This program demonstrates the performance of truncal vagotomy and antrectomy by standard, well accepted techniques. There is no attempt made to discuss alternative surgical procedures. The objectives are met at a very basic, technical level. Unfortunately, the editing is poor, and the films is lengthy. Thus, this presentation is recommended only for beginning surgical students.
