Abstract:
(Critical) This program presents clinical demonstrations of arterial punctures including standard approaches to radial and femoral artery punctures. These techniques are explained. The necessary supplies and their preparation are also discussed. The presentation is consistent in objectives, audience, content and educational design. Thus, this program is recommended for students and practitioners of emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, anesthesiology and inhalation therapy.
