Abstract:
(Critical) This program demonstrates the anatomical position of the dorsal thalamus on a serially sectioned human brain. Specific major nuclei of the thalamus are described and shown on stained macrosections. The cerebral connects of the nuclei are also described. This material is well presented on an introductory level and is recommended on this basis for medical and dentistry students.
