Abstract:
(Critical) This program presents two methods of investing a sprued wax pattern. The first method details the technique of painting the sprued wax pattern with investment and inverting the pattern into a filled investment ring. The secondmethod utilizes a vacuum type technique which involves special equipment. The presentation is consistent with the stated objectives and the information is done in a very logical, sequential manner. Thus, this program is recommended for restorative dentists, dental assistants and dental hygienists.
