(Critical) This program, part one of a series on radiographic processing, presents a complete analysis of the function of processing from film content to the visible image. The composition of an x-ray film and its physical factors, latent image information, the role of the developer, and developer oxidation are discussed. The presentation is repetitive and tedious and is thus recommended only as an adjunct to a lecture for radiologic technology students.
