This program describes the drying of films in radiographic processing to protect the visible image and to facilitate handling. The components and the function of the drying system are discussed, plus problems that can arise in relation to wet films. William E. J. McKinney provides a close look at this process in order to provide increased understanding and to achieve optimal results. The presentation includes many charts and photographs of the equipment used. (Critical) This program presents the components and function of the drying system. Problems of the drying system are also discussed. The presentation is well done, accurate and meets its objectives. Thus, the program is recommended for students of radiologic technology.
