Abstract:
(Critical) This program presents three case reports with discussion of the surgical technique for removing cerebellopontine angle masses. A congenital cholesteatoma, an arachnoid cyst and a meningioma are presented. A short summary of incidence is given. The preoperative test battery includes only audiometry and posterior fossa contrast myelography. The omission of computerized cranial tomography, arteriography, and pneumoencephalography outdates the program.
