Starts with printed index pages withhand annotations from Catalogus Medicamentorum. . . per Gulielmum Jones, Russell Street, London. Second part contains prescription formularies, perhaps dating to the 18th century. Third part contains recipes transcribed from various sources and in various hands, mostly dating from eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. Last part continues more prescription formularies, with text inverted.
