Color postcard of a nurse holding a newborn infant. The word "Nursery" is above them. The nurse is wearing a long sleeved white uniform with a white hat with a red cross at the front. The baby is wrapped in a white blanket. The text on the right side of the postcard reads: Welcome to the new arrival. We just heard about the new joy that came to your home. How proud and happy you must be. We want to be among the first to welcome Baby ... to extend sincere good wishes. In the lower right corner is a picture of a black rooster with a red beak and comb, standing on a weathervane. Across his body is the text "Weather Bird Shoes" and above him, "Weatherized."
