The title Kunstflug translates to aerobatics. Film opens with footage of a pilot flying an open-cockpit biplane. According to title slides translated from the German, a film camera is installed in the upper deck of a 120 HP Raab-Katzenstein biplane one meter in front of the aircraft pilot's face. Second title slide says "normal flashover (looping upwards)." Then, the pilot looks up during his roll in order to get the earth and thus the horizon into view again as soon as possible. Later the film seems to show a flight instructor and a student flyer. The pilot(s) execute various rolls and aerobatics.
