Abstract:
The nurse in this black and white photographic postcard is standing next to two carts or tables with medical supplies, mostly bottles and other containers. She wears a short-sleeved white uniform. Her hair is tucked up underneath her white cap with short veil. She is touching the lid of one container with her right hand. Next to that is an open container holding some medical implements. Behind the nurse is a round stand holding a white basin. To the nurse's left is a bank of windows. The lower pane of the window immediately to her left is opened in and downwards. There is a radiator under the windows.
