Abstract:
This black and white postcard shows a ward in the Mengo Hospital in Uganda. At the time it belonged to the Church Missionary Society. Cots with patients line both walls. A nurse wearing a dark dress, white apron and white cap stands at the back left of the scene. Another similarly dressed nurse stands on the right side. A third nurse is seated at a table at the back right.
