Abstract:
This short video presents a montage of still images and captions from the 2017 book US National Library of Medicine, authored by Jeffrey Reznick, Kenneth Koyle, and other NLM staff, part of the Images in America series, and published in 2017 by Arcadia Publishing of Charleston, South Carolina. The book is a history of the library from its earliest years through the "Old Red Brick" building on the National Mall, World War II, its new placement on the National Institutes of Health campus, and a turn towards computer-generated and digital information.
