Abstract:
Postcard of A.T. McHaffie Drug Store in Des Moines, Iowa. Card features a yellowing black and white photo reproduction of the inside of the drugstore. On the left is a white soda bar with a stool in front. Farther back is a glass display counter, cabinets behind it against the left wall. A man behind the counter is showing a product to a man in a hat. Behind him on the right are small tables with chairs, more cabinets and glass counters to the right. Light is coming in from the window on the right. Some signs hang from the ceiling, such as "Hand made ... 5c cigar", "Palmer house invincibles" and "Oh look! Lowney's chocolates". On the verso is the name Bessie Toliver.
