Abstract:
Postcard of J.S. Lightner's pharmacy in Randolph, Wisconsin. Card features a hand-colored black and white photo reproduction of the inside of the drugstore. On the right are glass display counters, with a life-sized Uncle Sam statue standing on top in the middle. Behind the counters is a wall full of shelved boxes. On the left is rounded glass display counters painted yellow with shelved bottles behind it. Random objects around the store are painted pink or yellow. Between the counters is a wheeled display case and a fireplace with the chimney pipe turning right, behind the statue. Behind the fireplace is a man in a suit, an American flag hanging behind him. The ceiling is painted yellow, with a pink ceiling line below it.
