The oldest pharmacy in England, Knaresborough, Yorkshire
Postcard of Lawrence, a pharmacy in Knaresborough, England. Card features a lightly colored photo reproduction of the outside of the drugstore. The brown building is two stories tall with a sign of "Lawrence" at the very top, a sign of "Ye anciente pharmacy" below it. The second floor has two small windows with two bigger windows below them. The first floor is dark with signs that say "Pharmaceutical chemist" and "The oldest chemist's (established 1720) shop in England." The storefront windows have cubbies full of merchandise, with some small plants above the signs. In front of the store is a sidewalk and cobblestone street, and the sky is painted a light blue.
