Abstract:
Advertisement for Phosphatine Falières. Card features a color illustration of two men and a suit of armor. One man is dressed in green and orange jester clothes, lounging on a red couch and yellow pillows. The second man has his back to us, kneeling on the ground before the jester. He is wearing a black hat, a red shirt over a long dark blue shirt, and brown leggings. He is polishing a sword, with a disassembled suit of armor next to him. Around the image is a blue border of flower pots, two cherubs, four goat heads, and two cats at the top. On the back is the poem "Les deux chats" from the Fables of Florian, and another image of two cats. The black and white illustration shows a fat calico cat sitting on a cushion with bowls in front of it. Above, around the poem, is a green border with a roof and skinny black cat on it.
