Abstract:
Advertisement for Phosphatine Falières. Card features a color illustration of five men in a room full of paintings. All the men are wearing black tricorns, white leggings, and black shoes. The rightmost man is wearing a blue coat and is holding a notebook and pen, everyone looking at him. Left and behind him is a man with a light green coat. In front of him is a man in a purple coat with both his arms gesturing in front of him. In front of the purple man is a man in a red coat with his arms crossed. Behind him is a man in a green coat with his arms gesturing to the left. Behind the group, more people can be seen by a wall full of paintings. Around the image is a border like a painting's frame with colorful flowers on top. In the top middle is a grey parrot with a red tail surrounded by smaller birds. On the back is the poem "Le perroquet" from the Fables of Florian, and another image of a parrot standing on a branch. The black and white illustration shows the parrot surrounded by four smaller birds. Above, around the poem, is a green border made of small birds on leafy branches.
