Abstract:
Advertisement of Vinho de Chassaing, or Vin de Chassaing, bi-digestive wine. Card features a color illustration by Louise Abbema (French painter, 1858-1927). It depicts a woman in typical late 19th century dress with leg of mutton sleeves having a snack while staring at a black French poodle. She is standing outdoors, in the countryside with a small lake behind her. She is wearing a pink dress and a black hat. Her gloves are on a table, with her snack and a bottle of wine.
