This postcard advertises the Wit-Gele Kruis (the White-Yellow Cross) in Belgium. The Wit-Gele Kruis, which provides home health care nurses, was established first in the Netherlands and later, in 1937, in Belgium. This single-sided postcard is beige, with text and illustration in blue and white in the lower left corner. The image is of a nurse leaning over and caring for a female patient lying in a bed. The nurse wears a long-sleeved blue dress, white apron and white cap. Her right hand is on the patient's head and her left hand is on her chest. The patient is dressed in white and lying in a bed with white linens. At the bottom of the scene is a white cross.
