- Abstract:
- Advertisement for Phosphatine Falières. Card features a color illustration of an art nouveau style woman picking an Orange tree. To the left in a blank space is a poem by Maurice Vaucaire. Right of the poem is a woman picking oranges from an Orange tree in Curaçao. The woman is tanned, wearing a white handkerchief over her head. She is standing by an Orange tree, reaching out towards the left to pick oranges. Her top is red with a blue and yellow shirt under it, while a white apron is over a blue and red patterned skirt. She has on some gold jewelry and is wearing red socks with blue shoes. By the woman's feet is a basket of oranges and some orange-colored flowers. In the background are some trees, a beach, and mountains. Around the woman and poem is a border of yellow pillars with orange-colored flowers, with white Orange flowers at the bottom. On the back of the card is a border made of pumpkin vines and flowers, two pumpkins in the bottom left corner. Above the pumpkins stands a little girl with dark hair looking into a jar. Next to her is a small dark dog. All verso text and images in dark red coloring.
