Abstract:
Taken during a visit to Montreal in 1909. This was Osler's first visit to North America since moving to Oxford in 1905; the primary reason for his visit was to give an oration at the opening of "Osler Hall," the auditorium of the new library building of the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland. Montreal was his last visit after visiting Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Buffalo, and Toronto.. [Description courtesy of McGill University.]
