In April and May of 1913, Osler visited North America for what would be the last time. During the visit, he attended the opening of the Phipps Clinics at Johns Hopkins, gave an address to the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing graduates, and gave a series of lectures at Yale University, among other engagements. In this photo, he is joined by Lewellys Barker (who succeeded him as Professor of Clinical Medicine at Johns Hopkins), and Frank Sladen, then the chief medical resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
