Abstract:
Dr. Lindberg presented DeBakey with a brick from the Library's previous headquarters at the Army Medical Library on Independence Avenue in Washington, DC. DeBakey was one of the most influential advocates for moving the Library to NIH in 1962. DeBakey's actual birthday was September 7.
