Presented at the annual banquet at the Eleventh Annual Meeting of the National Association for Mental Health in Miami Beach, FL. Fogarty talked about the final report and recommendations of the Joint Commission on Mental Illness and Health, established under the Mental Health Study Act of 1955, but noted that support from citizens would be needed to turn those recommendations into policy and funding.
