This report illustrates the variety of issues and problems facing the National High Blood Pressure Education Program, including guidelines for detection, evaluation, and management of hypertension, coordinating relationships between healthcare providers, and planning for National High Blood Pressure Month. Gorman was director of Citizens for the Treatment of High Blood Pressure, and served on the NHBPEP's coordinating council.
