Abstract:
Advertisement for Dr. Guillie's Elixir, anti-glairy tonic. Card features a color illustration of street performers with a bear and spectators on a shore. A bearded man in brown clothing stands next to a large brown bear. The man holds a tambourine and a chain that attaches to the bear's collar. The bear is standing on its hind feet and has a stick in its right paw. A woman in gypsy-like clothing is collecting money from a girl in a pink dress. A man, a woman, a boy and others are standing in a line behind the girl. In the background on the shore there is a wagon and a few people. Also in the background are some yachts on the water. On the back are illustrations of scientists and a bottle.
