- Abstract:
- Advertisement for Pills of Salmon. Card features a color illustration of Louis XIV, Sun King, in an elegant dining room surrounded with men. The portrait of Louis XIV on the right side is within a yellow border with a crown on top and his name on a blue ribbon below. He has long brown curly hair. In the larger illustration, Louis IX is wearing mostly blue clothes and is seated at a square dining table. A man is also seated to his right. The King is talking to a man in a long yellow jacket, possibly Moliére (actor, playwright, poet), who is standing on the other side of the table. There are other men all with long hair standing behind the king and also near Moliére.
