Abstract:
Advertisement for Apiol from Dr. Joret and Homolle. Card features a color illustration of a diligence, a large, four-wheeled, closed French stagecoach traveling through a town. Four horses are pulling the coach that is divided into two compartments. The driver is riding on a seat above the front wheels, on the same level as, but unattached to, the coach body, on a seat on the body, or postilion. A tall tower and some buildings can be seen in the background. On the back is a black & white illustration of a woman.
