Abstract:
Black and white photograph of a hospital operating room. It has high ceilings and large windows on the top half of one wall. Large trees are visible through the window. There are 2 ceiling lamps and a 3rd lamp that appears to be for surgical use. There are three sinks against one wall, with towels folded on a rail at one side, and two metal stools in front. There are 3 nursing sisters in full habits. One is focused on adjusting equipment, 1 stands behind a wheeled table with trays of equipment, and the 3rd stands next to equipment for anesthesia. The floor has a large drain in the center of the room.
