- Abstract:
- Advertisement for Eau des Carmes Boyer, an alcoholic extract of lemon balm and other herbs. Card features a color illustration of a blonde woman in a bust-length portrait. She is wearing a white shirt with a blue and gold bodice, two necklaces, and a red and gold hat with a translucent veil attached to it and flowing down across her shoulders. The portrait has a gold background and is encircled decoratively with flowers and pine boughs. Around the portrait, in the background of the illustration, is a snowy landscape scene of a Russian steppe. In the center of the scene a one-man sleigh is being pulled across the snow by a brown horse, driven by a man with a whip. The whole illustration is surrounded by a gold border.
