Abstract:
In this black and white photographic postcard, a nurse stands next to the bed of her patient. The nurse is wearing a long-sleeved striped uniform with a white apron and white cap. There is a pin at her throat with a cross and an armband with a cross on her left arm. She stands behind and leans over the patient, who is propped up on pillows in bed, a dark blanket pulled up to his chest. He is bald, with a mustache and beard. Both look directly at the camera. There is a white basin on the table next to the bed.
