Abstract:
Advertisement for Tisane Cisbey, Cisbey Herbal Tea for constipation. Card features a color portrait of the French knight Pierre Terrail, seigneur de Bayard (1473-1524). The portrait has a dark orange background and is inside a round silver frame. Below the portrait is an illustration of Bayard defending the Garigliano bridge during the Battle of Garigliano in 1503. He is equipped in full knight's armor and is holding his sword straight up into the air, attacking a group of other knights on horseback. At the bottom of the illustration is a reproduction of Bayard's autograph.
