Abstract:
Advertisement for Tisane Cisbey, Cisbey Herbal Tea for constipation. Card features a color portrait of Catherine de Medici (1519-1589). The portrait has a yellow background and is inside a round silver frame. In the portrait she is wearing a headdress and has a high, pleated collar. Beneath the portrait is an illustration of Catherine de Medici with her son, King Charles IX. She is holding out her hand to the king, who is sitting in his throne with his head bowed thoughtfully. At the bottom of the illustration is a reproduction of Catherine de Medici's autograph.
