Abstract:
Predominantly white poster with a green banner at top, with white, orange, green and purple lettering. Visual image is a color drawing featuring an African male medical professional at a desk, across from two African women in a medical clinic. All three of them share a word balloon in which various forms of medicine (capsules, syrup, a syringe, and tablets) appear. Logos for the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation, Ministry of Medical Service, United States President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, and Danya International Inc. appear below the image. A logo-style graphic for "Sindano iwe salama" has an illustration of a syringe in the middle. Intent of the program/poster is to get people to use non-injection methods in order to lower the number of infections from contaminated needles.
