Abstract:
The front of the card features a black and white clip of a personal ad page as if from a newspaper. The prominant ad in the center begins with "GM ISO," which is an abbreviation for "gay man in search of." The text describes the person writing the ad as 6 feet tall and weighing 195 lbs. The text continues: "Looking for another open-minded, creative guy wh[o] wants to hang out with me and b[e] friends, and then maybe go for [a] more meaningful relationsh[ip]. Don't be boring." On the back, there is an "out loud" message in the middle of the card: "Coffee?" Above, against a red background, is fiction: "He gets tested so he must be negative." Below, against yellow background, is fact: "Getting tested every three months is a smart thing to do but it doesn't prevent you from getting or giving HIV in between tests." Phone number to call for testing and counceling is provided.
