Abstract:
This hand-colored black and white photograph shows two nurses in uniform and six men. Five of the men are wearing blue-grey convalescent jackets and one is in khaki. They are all wearing identical red ties. The nurses have the Red Cross emblems on their white pinafores and are wearing dark hats; one is also wearing a dark jacket over her uniform. The nurses are standing in the back, a tall man between them. Directly in front of them are four seated men, while the fifth one is a little to the side, sitting on a table or a high stool.
